Land based casinos

The World Casino Directory provides a worldwide directory of land based directory of casinos, organised geographically, plus reginal gambing news, forums and other resources.

Established in 1940, the Normandie Casino, Los Angeles is California's oldest casino. They offer Texas Holdem Poker, Paigow and Blackjack games 24 hours a day.

The Atlantic City Hotels site provides information on casinos in Atlantic City, USA with hotel information and booking facilities.

Online Casino Portals

There are numerous online magazines, newsletters and portals with gambling and casino information. Readers should be aware that most of these are financed by commissions from the online casinos that they list. Despite this, some of these portals provide useful information and casino reviews.

The Casino Affiliate Programs web site offers reviews of affiliate schemes - schemes by which casinos will pay a commission to whoever introduces new players who deposit money there. Some of these programs have a tiered structure, so that affiliates receive a commission for signing up new affiliates.

Live casinos and portals

These are casinos with live dealers and croupiers which use streamed video to allow the players to see and take part in the action. Compared to the usual software based online casinos with computer dealers using random number generators, "live" casinos offer the online player an experience closer to that of a land casino, playing with real cards and real dealers, albeit at a distance over a video link.
