Bagchen

Bagchen is a Tibetan game played with a double set of Chinese dominoes (64 pieces). It is quite closely related to Tien Gow, but more complicated. Four players are each dealt 16 dominoes, which are played out in single or multiple tricks, and as in Tien Gow the main aim is to win the last trick.

A detailed description can be found on the Bagchen pages of the Shang Shung Institute for Tibetan Studies (Austria). The rules there were written by Igor Berkhin, who learned the game from Chögyal Namkhai Norbu.
