Harry Viens reports that a card game called Toruro is popular. It is played with a Spanish deck, with each player receiving 3 cards; one card is turned to indicate the trump suit. The cards rank from high to low 1-3-king-horse-jack-7-6-5-4-2. A hand of 1-3-K of a suit, known as "immortal", wins the pot outright; 1-3-K of trumps outranks 1-3-K of another suit. If no one has an immortal hand, three tricks are played, the winner of each trick collecting one third of the pot.
