J. K. Flush

Contributed by Jamie Masculine

This game is for 2-4 players, using a standard 52-card pack. The objective is to collect a run of seven cards in the same suit. Examples would be A234567, 3456789, 89TJQKA. An Ace can be high or low but cannot be used in the middle of a run: for example QKA2345 is not a valid run. The first player who collects a seven card run in a suit is the winner.

To start off, 7 cards are dealt to each player and one card is placed face up to start a discard pile. At your turn, you either pick up the top card of the discard pile, or draw the top card from the undealt part of the pack, which is stacked face down on the table. After that you discard one card face up on top of the discard pile.

If the stock runs out, the cards of the discard pile (except for its top card, which is left in place) are shuffled to make a new draw pile. If the stock runs out a second time the game is a draw.
