Card games in Ecuador

The national game is Cuarenta, a fishing game played with a 40 card pack made from the standard 52 card pack by omitting 8s, 9s and 10s. Presumably this game was originally (and may perhaps still be) played with Spanish suited cards.

The contract rummy game Telefunken uses two standard international packs with four jokers (108 cards).
