This game was reported in DOMINO GAMES AND PUZZLES by K. W. H. Leefland.
The game uses a double eight domino set, with the doubles removed. This set has to be made from a double nine set. The double eight set has 45 tiles in it and with the doubles removed, the set has 36 tiles.
Two players gets 8 or 9 each tiles, three players get 7 tiles each.
This is a straight draw game.
The tableau is not played in a line, but as a double line, with the matching end placed on the side of the tile to which it matches. It looks like a row of bricks.
The winner of the previous round leads in the next round.
The first player to domino wins. If the game blocks, the player with the fewer total pips on the tiles in his hand wins. If players tie, then there is not winner and the player who set the last tile leads the next round.
There is also a non-drawing game with a deal of 11 or 12 tiles for two players, 8 or 9 tiles for three players and 8 tiles for four players.
